My site is about writing, traveling, and living.
More specifically, in my blog I discuss my platform, that is, why I write what I do. My blog will include photos and additional information about people and places in my novels, as I enjoy traveling and research.
I was a sophomore in college when I was accused of living my life as though I were “hopping down the bunny trail.” True, I was a little naive at the time. All I knew I had learned from voraciously reading books. Experience? Practically none.
But I went for that experience every chance I got and created chances when they didn’t appear.
I think, and hope, some of that experience shows in my writing.
I have been writing fiction since 2006. William Grey, former editor and writer for “National Geographic,” read my first manuscript and told me that my writing was worth pursuing. I did everything I could to learn more, including reading books on how to write better and subscribing to “The Writer” magazine.
Since then, I have written short stories, a couple vignettes and drafts of three novels. I have edited nonfiction since typing dissertations and theses in college and working as an assistant and paralegal for nearly thirty years. Retirement has given me more time to write, as well as review fiction and exchange critiques on line.
you are right… its never too late 🙂

A Sunshine Award certainly sounds nice since I love sunshine. I had to look the award up to see what it is. Seems there’s a lot of them floating about WordPress busily connecting bloggers to one another. Made me think I should write a blog about connection which will be upcoming shortly. Though I’ve been blogging for a while, and only recently been connecting with other bloggers, let’s see how I do with finding ten great blogs to pass on. Shouldn’t be difficult, as I’ve been amazed at the talent out there. Thanks for the nomination. Does a nomination mean I got it?

When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now
each time a comment is added I get several e-mails with the same comment.
Is there any way you can remove people from that service?
Many thanks!
